Stunning print of three English Partridges painted by Clare Brownlow using pheasant tail feathers and ink.
Clare wanted to create a print that was typical of the English partridge. English partridges are not portrayed that much in art and Clare wanted to do something different.
It is also the first print that Clare did on a grey background. The contrast between the grey and orange makes these Three Englishmen “pop”.
Hand-Finished Option
For that extra special touch to make your print truly unique, you can opt to have your print hand-finished. Clare will add extra ink to your print using her pheasant feather. Each print will be individually hand finished with Clare choosing colours to highlight features of the print, making it a one-of-a-kind.
She will make her choice of colour and placement at the time of hand finishing.
