Print of three swans taken from an original painting by Clare Brownlow painted on the River Teviot in the Scottish Borders using pheasant feathers and ink.
Clare lived right on the River Teviot in Scotland when she painted these swans. There was a field opposite the house that at certain times of the year had literally hundreds of swans – it was spectacular!
Every morning there were three swans that flew down the river with what seemed like an escort for the school run. Clare adored them and was so happy with the little entourage brightening up the monotony that is the school run.
Hand-Finished Option
For that extra special touch to make your print truly unique, you can opt to have your print hand-finished. Clare will add extra ink to your print using her pheasant feather. Each print will be individually hand finished with Clare choosing colours to highlight features of the print, making it a one-of-a-kind.
She will make her choice of colour and placement at the time of hand finishing.
