Clare loves painting kingfishers with their vibrant colour and rapid movement. In this particular piece, Clare has focused on the head of the Kingfisher to really capture its features. Taken from Clare’s original portrait painting a limited number of these beautiful birds have now been made into prints.

She paints her originals with her pheasant feather and ink to highlight the movement of her subjects.

Hand-Finished Option

For that extra special touch to make your print truly unique, you can opt to have your print hand-finished. Clare will add extra ink to your print using her pheasant feather. Each print will be individually hand finished with Clare choosing colours to highlight features of the print, making it a one-of-a-kind.

She will make her choice of colour and placement at the time of hand finishing.
