“This is the first large piece that I have tried with somewhat of a background. I wanted to create the sense of power on the waves as they crash on the beach. We spend so much time on the beach, my happy place. The darting of the oyster catchers skimming across the waves happens so fast and with such determination. they are the most wonderful little birds with such a beautiful song.”
