“This is possibly my most favourite painting that I have done. It currently sits in my dining room and I’m somewhat reluctant to part with it. I absolutely love crested cranes I think they are the coolest birds. Their hairstyle, their position when they fly is just fantastic.
Having sundown in Kenya and watching the crested cranes flying over the treetops is just such an amazing sight. In this piece, I have tried to show off the plumage and size of these large birds.
