James Purdey & Sons

During London Craft Week (May 2019) I was invited to demonstrate my feather and ink art techniques first hand in the Long Room at James Purdey & Sons. Not a bad studio for the day! Thank you so much Purdey’s for inviting me to paint and exhibit. Was so thrilled to be here again. Thankfully I didn’t get too excited with my paints, just as well as I may have been in a lot of trouble! Amazing history all around me. Thanks to all those who popped by to see me work!

The challenge was to paint on beautiful walnut that is used for the stocks on the Purdey guns. Such fun! Taking them home to varnish, and see what happens!
